Employment coordinators ease the transition of their students from the school based instruction medel into a real work environment. The Employment Coordinators assist students with acquisition of job skills by supporting them in the work place. They assist both students and prospective employers by supporting new employees and assisting with job development activities and skill acquisition. Assisting student with composing a resume and completing a job application, practicing interview skills, and once employed, assisting with job coaching and job development are the goals of the employment coordinators at the local high schools.
