 25th Annual Trivia Playoff


 

 
Thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors, donors and participants who supported The Arc of Frederick County’s “25th Annual Trivia Playoff Anniversary Celebration” on Friday, March 26th at The BPO Elks Lodge. 
 
Trivia enthusiasts from all over were challenged by a variety of Trivial Pursuit editions from the last 25 years! The Elks Lodge provided a wonderful event venue, with a special thank you to Sam's Club for donating beautifully decorated cakes to help us celebrate.  Over 150 spectators and contestants enjoyed a challenging, exciting evening of food, fun, prizes a silent auction and competition, while raising over $8,000.00 to support The Arc of Frederick County programs!
 
This year’s winners were: first place team: Radcliffe Realty
 
Second place team: The Slaters
 
And third place team: The Rhythm Pigs.
 
 
The table sponsors were: BB&T, Conklyn and Associates, Frederick County Bank, Linton, Shafer, Warfield and Garret, LS Fuel, Rager, Lehman and Houck, and Woodsboro Bank. 
 
Our Ad sponsors were Edward Jones Financial Services, PNC Bank, Rudolph’s Office Supply, Attorney Scott Morrison, and Servicemaster.
 
The Silent Auction was a huge success with generous donations from La Scola Studios, Avon from Christine Epkes, Ben Thompson of Real Estate Teams, Chef Buck Reed, Linganore Candles, the Little Pottery Shop, Longaberger baskets, Maryland Ensemble Theatre, Sherry Beeson Original Designs and Thomas Scott Salon. 
 
 
In addition, the Table Design competition was beautiful, with incredible designs generously donated by local businesses; ABloom Florist, Britt Floral Designs, Flower Fashions, Frederick Florist, Premier Party Rentals and Zimmerman’s Florist! Congratulations to the Winners – first place in table design went to: Zimmerman’s Florist and second place went to: Flower Fashions.                                  
 
The Live Auction basket drew a lot of excitement and bidding that evening. It was assembled especially for spring cleaning with generous donations from Dutch Plant Farm, Frederick Auto Spa(The Lube Center), Magic Mountain Chimney Sweeps, Thanksgiving Farm, The Maids Home Services and GoodWill Industries of Monocacy Valley!
