In-Kind Donations
There is a constant need for everyday life necessities. Below is our current wish list:
- Either a manual or electric Hoyer lift and a mesh sling that goes along with the Hoyer.
- Gas station gift cards (Sheetz, Wawa, Exxon, Shell, etc.) - A child who we support is in a specialty hospital in the metro area and the parents need some help buying gas for the trips back and forth.
- Gift cards for area grocery stores and discount stores such as Walmart.
- A long sofa
- Desktop Computer (very basic)
- Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner
- 3 Wheel Tricycle
- Electric Bicycle/Scooter
- 3 Wheel Adult Tricycle, heavy duty
- Silent Auction items for various fundraising events

Endowment Fund
The Arc of Frederick County also has an active Endowment Fund program. This helps families plan for the future needs of their children. You can assist them by donating to our Endowment Fund. Special Events

Donate Your Vehicle
Have an old vehicle to donate? Please see details at The Arc of The United States website to learn how to donate your old car, truck, van, boat with a trailer, or RV. In addition to the online vehicle donation form available on their website, you may also call 1-877-ARC-CAR0 (1-877-272-2270) to speak to a friendly operator. Free towing is available and you may qualify for a tax donation. All proceeds benefit individuals with developmental disabilities.
